Here's the deal. We're at a turning point in our nation's history. Of course the 2020 election was important, but MSNBC's Joy Reid wrote that “the 2022 midterms may actually be the most important elections of our lifetime.” There are two ways things could go:
#1 – The NDRC hits our fundraising goals and has the resources to carry out our three-pronged plan to protect democracy in 2022 (supporting pro-democracy candidates, protecting the freedom to vote, defending election infrastructure).
#2 – We fall short of our goals and can’t execute our plan. Republicans win the election and get away with installing anti-democracy politicians and judges who could help overturn legitimate election results in 2024.
The way to achieve #1 and prevent #2? It would be really, really helpful if one person in every three receiving this email clicked the link below and made a donation before midnight.
