Fellow Republican,

Welcome back to the Republican Rundown--your weekly email highlighting the important work that the Republican Party of Virginia is doing to ensure we elect Republicans across the Commonwealth.
This week, we had an extremely busy week on the road! On Tuesday, we went over and visited our friends in Surry County for their unit meeting. We also were able to meet a great slate of local candidates running for the Board of Supervisors and School Board in 2022 and 2023. Thank you to Bob Chandler for his continued leadership in Surry, and to Lynetta Davis for her work in setting up the meeting.

Wednesday, we attended the Jamestown Heritage Republican Women's Club, where we were greeted with unparalleled enthusiasm from our great group of grassroots ladies. We had an informative discussion on the 2022 and 2023 election cycles, and outlined some new unique ways they can get more involved in elections. A special thank you to Sharon Goodrich for hosting such a great meeting and allowing us to be part of it.
Wednesday night, we also ventured out to Northumberland, where we were welcomed with the fire and energy that America's 1st District so often brings. A special thank you to Chairwoman Marion Cockrell for her leadership, and to Senator Richard Stuart for getting the crowd fired up about this year's Congressional elections, and next year's State/Local elections.
On Thursday, we attended the thank you dinner that our great Rockingham Unit put on for Delegate Rob Bell. Delegate Bell has represented Rockingham for 20 years, but due to redistricting, he will no longer represent the county, so they threw a lovely thank you dinner to show appreciation for all his hard work throughout his time in the House of Delegates. A special thank you to DaryL Borgquist for his continued leadership in the Valley.

We also attended the Colonial Area Men's Association (CARMA) Luncheon in Williamsburg. Thank you to the Members for welcoming us to your meeting!
We would like to highlight our Party's endorsed candidates running for local elections in the City of Radford this year. Radford has four seats for City Council and three seats for School Board on the ballot in November and our nominees are working tirelessly for a clean sweep. Our team invites you to check out all of our wonderful candidates for these local positions. If you live in Radford and would like to help these candidates, then please reach out to Radford City Republican Chairman Chip Craig. Early voting begins on September 23rd in Virginia. Do YOU have a plan to vote?
