2 of my House colleagues, Mike Levin and Josh Harder, are running in even more difficult districts or races than in 2018 and lack the resources they need to complete their campaign spending plans, while 7 more strong candidates — Kermit Jones, Adam Gray, Rudy Salas, Christy Smith, Dr. Asif Mahmood, Will Rollins, and Jay Chen — are running to flip red-to-blue seats or ones newly opened up in the redistricting process. And I’m doing everything in my power to help.  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

Adam Schiff for Congress

John, I’ll explain more in a moment, but while I have your attention: Will you split a $10 contribution to 10 California Democrats running to expand and defend our House majority this fall?

Here’s what you need to know:

In 2018, California Democrats flipped 7 of the 41 seats Democrats won nationwide to take back the House. Our new Democratic majority went right to work, holding the Trump administration accountable for their many abuses of power.

But that could all change this fall. Despite President Biden’s victory and flipping the Senate, we lost seats in the House in 2020 and now have only a 5-seat House majority. If Republicans take back the House, one of the first things Kevin McCarthy has threatened to do as Speaker is to remove me from my committees and other members as well, in an effort to diminish any accountability. They also threaten to overturn the next election if they lose again, and with such an action, it would mean an end to our democracy.

You and I know we can’t let that happen. So here’s the opportunity:

This is the first congressional election in 10 years to have new district lines. Unlike many states, where right-wing legislatures gerrymander district lines, California has a nonpartisan Citizens Redistricting Commission that actually draws lines fairly.

As a result, 2 of my House colleagues, Mike Levin and Josh Harder, are running in even more difficult districts or races than in 2018 and lack the resources they need to complete their campaign spending plans, while 7 more strong candidates — Kermit Jones, Adam Gray, Rudy Salas, Christy Smith, Dr. Asif Mahmood, Will Rollins, and Jay Chen — are running to flip red-to-blue seats or ones newly opened up in the redistricting process. And I’m doing everything in my power to help.

John, this is a huge opportunity for California to single-handedly save our Democratic majority, but we can’t do this alone. So I’ll ask you plainly:

Will you split a $10 contribution to our 10 campaigns to defend and expand our House majority in California?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your split donation to Adam Schiff, Mike Levin, Josh Harder, Kermit Jones, Adam Gray, Rudy Salas, Christy Smith, Asif Mahmood, Will Rollins, and Jay Chen will go through immediately:

Folks in California, and indeed across the country, have stepped up time and again to ensure our state continues to lead the nation forward with our policies and elected representatives.

We flipped the House in 2018. Beat Trump in 2020. Defeated a right-wing Republican recall effort in 2021 to keep our Democratic governor.

And in 8 weeks, we’re going to be the reason that Democrats can spend the next two years working in the House majority and continuing our historic progress.

Thanks for your support. It truly means everything to these candidates, and me.
