Hi team,

We are less than 100 days away from the midterm elections. We have the chance to make history and flip WI-01 blue for the first time in a generation.

Right now we are working hard to build up our campaign resources and connect with voters so we can unseat our extremist opponent. Chip in now to support us in doing everything we can to flip WI-01 blue this November.

Events Roundup:

September 1st, Ann meets with the UAW Local 72 Retirees

It was an honor earlier this month when Ann was invited to meet with the UAW Local 72 members and retirees. Across the state, workers are fighting for their rights in the workplace. Now more than ever, we have to stand by our labor unions as they fight for fair pay and benefits at work. Team Roe is proud to stand with unions in this election.

September 2nd, Ann introduced Gov. Tony Evers

Another exciting thing happened this month: Gov. Tony Evers called up Ann to ask if she would introduce him at his Kenosha event rally – and of course, the answer was an easy yes!

Ann was honored to talk about Gov. Evers and all the great things he has done for our state, including the new Congressional map. No matter what the Republicans would like us to believe, Gov. Evers gets the job done for our state. His time in office has been focused on bringing people together and not dividing them. We can't wait to get Ann elected so she can work alongside Gov. Evers to fight the cost of living increases, bring good-paying jobs to the district, and get our kids the best possible education.

September 3-5th, Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day was a busy weekend for Team Roe! Ann had showings at various events – she started Labor Day in St. Francis and Oak Creek proudly representing as the pro-union candidate for WI-01.

In between stops, Ann stopped by the Starbucks in Oak Creek, the first Starbucks to unionize in Wisconsin! Congrats to them on their historic win and thank you for the pick-me-up as we moved to the next stop!

The next stop was at the Walworth County Fair where Ann got to meet some of the youngest members of Team Roe.

Ann made an appearance at Milwaukee Laborfest to listen to President Biden's remarks. As a proud AFT retiree member, Ann was proud to stand with union members today and every day. The turnout was phenomenal and showed that the people of WI-01 are ready for a pro-labor candidate!

Ann ended Labor Day celebrations in Racine and Kenosha to honor the hard work unions do in our district. Let's be #unionstrong today and every day.

September 10th, Festival Latino Americano in Beloit

Ann had a wonderful time celebrating Hispanic Heritage. Food, music, culture, and celebrating the diversity that makes our community so special — what a great way to spend a Saturday!

September 11th, 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony with Janesville Fire Department and Local 580

To honor the lives lost 21 years ago, Ann joined her local fire department and Local 580 for a moving ceremony. Never forget.

September 14th Rock County Farm Bureau

Ann enjoyed learning more about the support farmers need to keep food on our plates. Farming is the backbone of our community, and Ann was grateful to have the chance to speak at the Forum.

What's Coming Up:

Volunteer with us!

This month we welcomed our new Organizing Director, Caroline Petty, to the team! We are so excited about all the new ideas and energy she's bringing to this campaign, but she can't knock on all the doors in WI-01 by herself!

Our campaign's strength lies in our grassroots support. Thanks to our supporters we have carved out a presence across WI-01, however, there is ALWAYS room for us to grow. We need your help to connect with and rally together our local community.

Volunteers are our best chance to grow and strengthen our campaign. So, will you join us on the campaign trail as a volunteer? >>> [link removed]
