Kermit Jones is a veteran, physician, and lawyer, who’s running to flip California’s 3rd district blue. He’s up against a well-funded, right-wing candidate in a district that’s been represented by a Republican for the past decade, but redistricting has created an opportunity for Democrats to win this Northern California seat.

Rudy Salas is running to flip California’s 22nd district and would be the first Latino representative from the Central Valley. Republicans spent $12 million to win this seat by less than one point in 2020 and have already spent a quarter of a million dollars to keep this “toss-up” seat red.

Asif Mahmood, a doctor and philanthropic leader, is stepping up to turn California’s newly drawn 40th district blue. He’s facing off against the incumbent Republican who has been complicit in the GOP’s all-out assaults on common-sense gun laws, reproductive freedom, and lower taxes and will be another MAGA lackey.

Will Rollins is a former federal prosecutor who is running to flip California’s 41st district blue. He has a real chance to oust the GOP incumbent who has earned the title of “one of the most corrupt politicians in Congress,” after betraying his oath of office, and aligning himself with insurrectionists who assaulted our democracy.

Winning these races will ensure Democrats keep the House majority — meaning Barbara and her colleagues can continue to deliver on our progressive agenda without fear of Republican obstruction.
