Donald Trump knows any chance of holding onto the White House depends on the Midwest. That’s why he keeps coming back to Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan.

Trump won our state by less than a percentage point in 2016. He won Michigan by about 10,000 votes. And he lost Minnesota by just 1.5 percentage points.

Make no mistake: Trump intends to win a second term, so he’s pulling out all the stops in our states to make sure he and his Republican buddies hold onto their majority.

That’s why my friends, Michigan Senator Gary Peters and Minnesota Senator Tina Smith, are facing two of the toughest re-election battles in the country next year. Trump is targeting their races, and it will take all of us doing our part to protect their seats.

Just last year, this grassroots team stepped up to help me win by double digits in a state Trump won. That’s nothing short of incredible. So, I’m asking you now to step up once again to help Tina and Gary win their races.
