White House Hosts "Inflation Celebration" |

The events that took place this week are another stark reminder of what this November is all about.
On Tuesday, Joe Biden and Washington Democrats hosted what amounted to an "inflation celebration" on the White House lawn. The event, to celebrate the so-called "Inflation Reduction Act" began with a performance by James Taylor, who in between singing "Fire and Rain," stated, "More than ever before, perhaps more than anything since the Second World War, the world needs to get together and respond to the climate crisis." Yes, really.
This was the same day that the August inflation report was released showing prices are up 8.3% year-over-year and that they actually increased month-over-month. And as Joe Biden was celebrating his "historic law" and how it will tackle the climate crisis (but not inflation, weird, right?) news networks began to show a split screen of how the DOW was performing. In what will be another defining moment of his presidency, one side of the screen showed Biden celebrating and smiling while the other DOW dropping over 1,200 points as the market reacted to the much worse-than-expected inflation numbers. (See my "Social Media Highlight" below for what I'm referring too). The whole event was another example of just how tone deaf this administration is. It's clear Joe Biden and Washington Democrats only care about the desires of the far-left, not the harsh reality that all too many are facing. We can change this in November. Enjoy this week's newsletter and share it with a friend. Sincerely, |

Announcing Major Investments in Indiana |
|
|
On Wednesday, Gov. Holcomb joined Rushville Mayor Mike Pavey and executives from Diamond Pet Foods today to announce the company’s plans to build a 700,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution center in Indiana to support its Midwest client base. To support the new $259 million state-of-the-art operation, the company plans to create up to 170 new jobs by the end of 2024.
“We couldn’t be prouder to welcome one of the world’s largest privately held pet food manufacturers to Indiana’s thriving economic ecosystem,” said Gov. Holcomb. “The Crossroads of America is where agriculture and innovation perfectly intersect, and precisely where our number one ranked infrastructure program, high quality of place and access to talent all contribute to support Diamond’s impressive goals and growth. I’m confident, together, we’ll find success in Indiana for generations to come.”
“Rushville is truly fortunate to have Diamond Pet Foods growing their company here,” said Rushville Mayor Mike Pavey. “The leadership of Diamond Pet Foods understands rural communities. They will have a positive impact to Rush County for generations.” And on Thursday, Gov. Holcomb joined local officials and executives of General Motors Co. today in Grant County as the company announced plans to invest $491 million to expand and upgrade its operations in Marion, supporting GM’s electric vehicle production.
“Indiana is the number one ranked manufacturing production state in America per capita and ranks in the top three for automotive vehicles,” said Gov. Holcomb. “It’s exactly because of investments like GM’s in advanced technology and future-focused solutions that will ensure Indiana will continue to be a leader in tomorrow’s manufacturing, making the products that power and redefine mobility the world over.” This is Republican leadership at work! |

FOX NEWS: Top Democrats try to distance themselves from their party and Biden, but voting records tell a different story |
From Fox News:
"An increasing trend among top Democrats running for re-election in November's midterms has them pitting themselves against their own party, as well as President Biden, despite their past statements and voting records telling a different story.
"This group of vulnerable Democrats at risk of losing their seats to Republican challengers has progressively sought to paint themselves as moderates, as well as independent-minded members of Congress, and touted what some of them have referred to as their record of standing up to Biden and Democratic Party leadership in order to win re-election.
"A review of their congressional voting records and a number of their previous statements suggest the contrary as many of them consistently voted in tandem with the Biden administration's legislative agenda according to FiveThirtyEight, as well as that of Democratic Party leadership according to ProPublica, and expressed support for Biden and the job he has done as president.
...
"Rep. Frank Mrvan, D-Ind., told viewers in a Facebook live stream last month to 'vote your interests,' and claimed he had 'stayed moderate' and connected to his community. (emphasis added)
"His voting record showed he voted with Pelosi and Biden 100% of the time." (emphasis added) There's nothing moderate about Democrat Frank Mrvan — he embraces the far-left agenda of Joe Biden and Washington Democrats 100%. It's time to put Hoosiers in The Region first. It's time to elect Jennifer-Ruth Green. |
