Fight for $15

**************************
John,

On Labor Day, we celebrated one of the most important worker laws to pass in half a century when fast food workers in California won the chance to sit down with corporations and government officials to set wage and work standards. This legislation could be a game-changer for workers all across the country who want a say.

Corporations know this. And they're already throwing big money to try to overturn our win.

They couldn't stop us in California and they definitely won't stop us everywhere else. Tell your elected officials you want laws like AB257 passed everywhere for ALL workers: [link removed]

I fought alongside thousands of fast-food workers in California to gain a seat at the table and a voice on the job, but instead of respecting us workers, and democracy itself, corporations like McDonald's likely to spend hundreds of millions of dollars to silence the voices of workers -- mostly Black and Brown cooks and cashiers.

McDonald's CEO Chris Kempczinski took home $20 Million in pay in 2021. McDonald's made 7.5 BILLION DOLLARS in profit in 2021. They can afford to pay us more. They can afford to treat us with respect.

But major corporations across the country don't want to do that. That's why we must demand UNIONS FOR ALL, so ALL workers have a voice on the job.

We won landmark legislation with people power -- standing together, walking out, going on strike and marching on the state capital. We will not let corporations like McDonald's use the BILLIONS in profit (that we helped make) to silence us.

Show them they can't stop our momentum. We won AB257. Next, we're going to win unions for all everywhere: [link removed]
