September is the most important month for fundraising that we’ve faced so far. In just a few weeks, we’ll be in the most critical period of this race — when most voters will be tuning in and preparing to cast their ballots.

That means that we might have to scale back our digital ads, organizing operation, and TV budget — and National Republicans will see that our momentum is slowing down.

Mitch McConnell has already spent $250,000 on TV ads to boost Michael’s opponent, and the National GOP has amassed a $331 million warchest to flip seats like Michael’s — so if we fall short, they could decide that Colorado is worth even more of their investment.
