Friend,

As the year winds down, we are looking back on 2019 and planning ahead for what will be a banner year, and we want to hear from you.

Doug has accomplished a lot this year – and he’s done it by working across the aisle and building support for the issues that actually matter to people. He pledged to unite us and work for One Alabama, both in the Senate and on the campaign trail, and that’s exactly what he’s done.

So, folks, tell us:

Which of Doug’s big wins meant the most to you this year?

[A] The elimination of the Widow’s Tax [[link removed]]
[B] Changing a bad reimbursement formula to put more money back in Alabama hospitals [[link removed]]
[C] Securing 12 weeks of Paid Family Leave for more than 50,000 hardworking Alabamians and over 2 million people nationally [[link removed]]
[D] Permanent Federal funding for HBCUs [[link removed]]
[E] Simplifying Student Financial Aid forms (FAFSA) to make it easier for students and parents to pay for college [[link removed]]
[F] Finally establishing $25 million for CDC funding to study gun violence as a public health crisis [[link removed]]

As we move into the new year, know that Doug has your back. Your priorities are his priorities. That’s why we’re working so hard to re-elect Doug. We’re grateful for your support, and we look forward to sending even more updates on the great work he’ll do next year.

Thank you,
Team Doug
