Who is Gracie the Bark Ranger?

Gracie is a professionally-trained wildlife shepherding dog, who along with her handler Ranger Mark Biel (Glacier's Natural Resources Program Manager), help keep wildlife and visitors a safe distance apart at Logan Pass and other areas of Glacier National Park.

Gracie is trained to move bighorn sheep and mountain goats out of the Logan Pass parking lot and away from high visitation areas for the safety of wildlife and park visitors!

Great Fish Community Challenge:
It's the final day!

The Great Fish Community Challenge is a charitable giving campaign designed to maximize your donations by matching your gift. During the Great Fish Community Challenge, the Whitefish Community Foundation will provide a percentage match on your donations up to $20,000, maximizing the impact of your gift. Gifts must be made by 5pm MDT today!

This year, your donation to the Great Fish Community Challenge will support Glacier National Park's citizen science program, which promotes science literacy and gives visitors and numerous student youth groups the chance to gather critical data and conduct first-hand research and surveys for the park.
