It’s no secret that treason is gaining popularity within the Republican Party as MAGA loyalists continue to take control.

Reporting from FiveThirtyEight is putting this threat to our democracy into chilling perspective:

Of the 540 Republican candidates on the ballot this November, 199 are on record fully denying the 2020 election results. Only 74 have gone on record accepting the results as legitimate.

The threat to democracy is very real. These traitors have no respect for the facts, and are only driven by party politics. They are seeking to infiltrate every level of our government with the hopes of doing what they failed to do in 2020: undermine our democracy.

The Republican National Committee has already admitted that it is recruiting tens of thousands to work and watch our polls at the local level. These election denialists will be deployed under the guise of “election integrity.”

They are attempting to make the very fabric of our democracy a partisan process. They say they want to ensure integrity, but we know these reality-detached ideologues will only bring more chaos to our elections.

We can’t let them succeed. Every seat they take will increase the threat to our democracy.
