Hello Friend,
Tonight is Round 6 of the Democratic Party’s presidential
debates (the first post-impeachment, and the last of 2019), and we are
here to remind you to watch and engage.
Where and when can I
watch?
The debate will air on PBS and
CNN, and will be live-streamed on pbs.org, politico.com, and cnn.com.
It will run from 8pm-11pm ET.
Which candidates made the
debate stage?
We are down to seven (but
we are not complaining — fewer perspectives but at least some room to
actually debate instead of bouncing from one random person to
another).
Who’s
moderating?
The debate will be moderated
by PBS NewsHour anchor Judy Woodruff, PBS senior national
correspondent Amna Nawaz, PBS White House correspondent Yamiche
Alcindor, and Politico’s chief political correspondent Tim
Alberta.
Who is standing
where?
Where the candidates stand on stage has been determined by polling
averages, so front-runners Biden and Warren will be center stage. The
overall order from left to right is: Booker, Gabbard, Klobuchar,
Buttigieg, Biden, Warren, Sanders, Harris, Yang, and Steyer.
Where do the candidates stand
on the issues?

stand on our priority
issues? Visit

Tracking the issues on social
media?
Use relevant
#hashtags: The official hashtag of the debates is
#DemDebate.
To make sure we find and interact with Arab Americans engaging on
social media, please use #YallaVote. We also
encourage you to use issue-specific hashtags like
#RefugeesWelcome for the border crisis,
#PalestineIs for Israel/Palestine-related
discussions, #NoMuslimBanEver for Trump’s Muslim ban,
#NoWarWithIran for (you guessed it) war with Iran,
#2020Census for the census, and
#FairMaps for anti-gerrymandering efforts.
Let's make sure the
candidates know: We are watching and preparing to
#YallaVote!
