Dear Friend,

I’d like to thank you for standing with us over the last few months as we have transitioned from**[**Send a Cow to Ripple Effect**]([link removed])**. I know how grateful my colleagues are for your positive feedback and support. **

 

In this [e-newsletter]([link removed]), we’ve pulled together some of the life-changing stories you’ve helped make possible, plus some important updates from our teams across the countries where we work. Here are some of the highlights: 

**Miriam's story: “[Now] I'm an employer.”**

Before working with Ripple Effect, Miriam and her husband worked on other people’s farms to get food and they struggled to grow crops because of poor soil fertility. Today her farm is thriving and she regularly employs someone else to help out.

**Zambia: Partnership for lasting change**
------------------------------------------

 

With your support, we have already worked with 2.5 million people across rural Africa. By 2030, we aim to reach 5 million more. One way we’ll achieve this is to collaborate with local partners like the Zambian Rainbow Development Foundation whose values and impact align with ours.

**Light Mothers: Creating ripples of hope**
-------------------------------------------

 

In Mwaro Province, Burundi, amazing Mamans Lumières or ‘Light Mothers’ like Jacqueline are volunteering their time to help other mothers in the community fight hunger and child malnutrition. In Jaqueline’s words:*“I felt it inside of me, the passion of wanting to become a Light Mother.” *
