Work is due to start on a new multiuser path to improve access into Colwick Country Park and improve existing paths within the park.

The scheme includes a new multiuser path adjacent to Racecourse Road; on an existing informal path through the park to improve pedestrian and cyclist access from the west and widening/resurfacing of the existing paths around the southern and eastern edge of the West Lake.

The park will remain open to users during construction and the works will be delivered in phases to minimise impacts to users. Works are commencing on Tuesday 20 September and are expected to last 18 weeks.
