One week from today, Donald Trump and Ted Budd are taking the stage together in Wilmington, North Carolina for a massive rally.

Donald Trump is personally invested in this race. Ted Budd was his first Senate endorsement this cycle, and he’s made holding North Carolina’s Senate seat a top priority.

That’s why he’s coming in for his third rally. Last time, they were joined onstage by Madison Cawthorn for a night filled with far-right foolishness. And the truth is Trump wouldn’t be coming back here if he wasn’t worried about losing this seat.

So we have to prepare for anything:
