Fellow Volunteers:

Tomorrow morning Liam is in an important debate in the Rockingham Meeting House in Bellow Falls. I am driving down from Johnson and have room in my car for 3 more. I will be going through Stowe onto Rt 89 south to Bellows Falls. It will take me a bit over 2 ½ hours, so I will be leaving Johnson at 7:30 sharp. The meeting starts at 10.

Liam Madden reminds me of a possible reincarnation where I sat mercerized in a small meeting in a barn over 170 years ago, listening to some guy named Abe who had the nerve to be talking about freeing the slaves!

We don’t officially have slavery in this country anymore, but we still do have millions of people, of all ethnicities, who are loving in extreme poverty, in deplorable housing (if any), and undereducated. They are being constantly exploited by a sophisticated economic class that is living in beautiful homes enjoying their many earned, and unearned privileges.

If I miss a call, my phone can now take messages. Or email if you want to go with me.

Peace,

Offie
