We need your help, friend. The chemical industry, led by Honeywell, wants to put more cancer-causing PFAS chemicals in your cosmetics. They’re putting their profits before your health and trying to stop a bill in California that would finally ban PFAS from personal care products. Banning PFAS in cosmetics in California would make cosmetics safer for everyone. We are so close to getting this bill across the finish line – we’re just waiting on Gov. Newsom’s signature. But Honeywell has deep pockets, and they’re pulling out all the stops in their campaign to get this bill vetoed. They’ve already spent more than $50,000 on lobbyists! We need a tidal wave of grassroots action from supporters like you, friend. Will you add your name to our petition urging Gov. Newsom to sign A.B. 2771 to BAN PFAS from cosmetics? |

PFAS chemicals have been linked to serious health risks, like cancer, reproductive harm and thyroid disease. EWG analysis found toxic PFAS chemicals in nearly 200 products in our Skin Deep® database. This bill would finally get PFAS chemicals out of cosmetics in California and beyond. The chemical industry may have high-powered lobbyists and deep pockets, but we have you. We know grassroots power can take down the chemical industry, because we’ve done it before. But we can’t do it alone. Thanks for standing with us, friend. |
