John:

There really is no limit to how low Republicans will go to try and win an election.

And no, we aren’t talking about our race this time.

We’re talking about the cheap shots being made by the Oz campaign mocking John Fetterman in Pennsylvania.

We won’t spend any time elevating their attacks against John, but it’s a move right out of the GOP playbook.

Tammy’s had Republican opponents make comments about her disability, especially when she is clearly leading in the polls. And now they are doing it to John, deceptively editing videos of him speaking in order to mock him while he recovers from a stroke.

But what they fail to realize is Tammy is a better Senator because she understands the challenges millions of Americans living with a disability face, especially on issues of access to affordable, high-quality healthcare.

Perhaps Dr. Oz should stop attacking someone who is overcoming a challenge and spend more time remembering his lessons from medical school on showing compassion for folks.

Look, the bottom line is that no real doctor or any decent human being would ever mock someone recovering from something in the way that Dr. Oz is mocking John Fetterman.

We don’t need celebrity doctors and more of Trump’s buddies in the Senate, we need people like John Fetterman who are going to roll up their sleeves and get to work for the people we are proud to represent.
