In 2018, we made new history for the Massachusetts Democratic Party by giving fresh energy to a proud tradition. For nearly two decades in the 1970s and '80s, Boston's Chinatown was an essential stop on the statewide and national political circuit, bringing people together to build friendship and fellowship over a banquet meal in Chinatown. Over the past few years, we’ve rebooted this tradition with the help of attendees from across the state to raise funds, to bring new people into the political process, and to support our coordinated campaign efforts.
This year, our Chinatown banquet will be on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 6:00PM at Empire Garden Restaurant (690 Washington Street, Boston, MA).
This year, my friend Chairman Aaron Michlewitz will join me in co-chairing the event! In 2022, this focus is more important than ever, and I hope we can count on your support again as the Party returns to Chinatown! This event will support our coordinated campaign organizing efforts up and down the ballot.
Please join us at the annual MassDems Chinatown Banquet on October 12 at 6PM for an evening of delicious food, signature drinks, and conversation with Democrats from across Massachusetts. In the past, this event has been a sold-out affair — we're so excited to bring it back and we hope to see you there!
