Hey friends! I wanted to send you a quick update on what’s been happening in Congress ahead of the weekend.

With fall just around the corner, I can’t help but think of how much Democrats got done over the past few months. We’ve invested billions into American energy, expanded healthcare for veterans, and finally passed common sense gun legislation. And that’s just the big stuff!

We’ve also passed laws that establish crisis training tools for first responders, innovate our domestic supply chain, and ensure attorneys have the ability to prosecute PPP fraudsters.

Even with narrow majorities in both chambers of Congress, Democrats have stood strong and continue to get things done for everyday Americans.

Unfortunately, even with this progress, Republicans still introduce harmful legislation, such as Lindsey Graham’s nationwide abortion ban.

Let me be clear: This has never been about states’ rights to the GOP. It’s about control. I’m going to do everything I can to ensure this bill never becomes law.

That’s why it’s so important Democrats hold and expand their Congressional majorities. There are so many issues we can solve – but we can’t afford two years of GOP rule.
