The labor movement has always been at the forefront of equity and justice. With the unions, I will continue to advocate and fight for fair wages, workplace safety, health benefits, reasonable hours, gender equality, immigration rights, civil rights, and so much more.
These are the folks who fought for fair treatment and the recognition of the dignity of hard work. They built the very foundation of our economy — of our country. That's why today is so special to me.
I will always stand with labor unions and workers.
