Since our founding more than 37 years ago, CREDO Mobile has stood up for the rights of all people, no matter who they love. We were one of the first companies to publicly support marriage equality, long before it was popular or legal. Yet, today our fundamental freedom to marry is at risk.
When the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade earlier this year, Justice Clarence Thomas signaled in his opinion that other privacy rights — like same-sex and interracial marriage — should be next.
In order to protect our freedoms, the U.S. Senate must pass the Respect for Marriage Act and codify our right to marriage now, before it's too late.

The Respect for Marriage Act, passed by the U.S. House earlier this year, would repeal the provisions in previous law that defined a marriage as the union of "one man and one woman" and federally protect same-sex and interracial marriages.
While the Supreme Court's 2015 ruling in Obergefell legalized marriage equality, Justice Thomas made clear that the right-wing Supreme Court is coming for our freedom to marry next — making this legislation so critically urgent.
A vote on this bill could happen very soon. With GOP senators already grumbling about their intent to further strip our rights, we must take this opportunity to let our senators know: This bill can and must pass.
