Friend,

In 2018, U.S. health care spending rose to $3.65 trillion – more than $11,000 per person. Health costs in our country are roughly double those in other affluent countries, and yet we rank among the lowest in life expectancy and among the highest in infant mortality.

At the same time, President Trump and his Republican colleagues have tried to sabotage the Affordable Care Act – which helped insure 20 million more Americans – while offering nothing but empty promises in return.

I refuse to accept that, and I hope you're with me.

Today, I announced a plan to ensure that no American has to forgo care because they don't have insurance, or face hardships because of medical bills. And if you already have private insurance, and you like it, keep it.

As president, I will create a Medicare-like public option to cover more people and drive down prices. My plan will also negotiate lower drug costs and increase access to care in rural areas. Together, we can build on the progress of the Affordable Care Act to reach universal coverage.

At the heart of my plan is a promise to fix our broken health care system and ensure that it is accessible, affordable, and improves the health of all Americans.

Add your name to support my plan to make health care accessible and affordable for every single American. ([link removed])

Thank you,
Mike
