John, here's the truth.

This morning, we set a goal to raise $3,500 by midnight tonight to catch up on our fundraising before the mid-month deadline. With hours left, we're tracking behind where we need to be, and that leaves us with just three options:

1. Delay critical campaign investments including organizing resources and advertising.
2. Have Summer take time away from campaigning and being out in the community for fundraising — something we never want to do.
3. Personally ask supporters like you if you can help close the gap, which is what we're doing right now.
