Dear John,

In a victory for American workers and the economy, the U.S. House of Representatives today passed President Trump’s United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) by a vote of 385 to 41.

I would like to thank CCAGW’s members and supporters for sending 2,000 letters to their U.S. Representatives supporting the agreement. Your participation was critical in getting this landmark trade deal across the finish line in the House.

The USMCA is the most significant trade deal in the past 25 years. It is projected to generate $68 billion in new economic activity and create at least 176,000 new American jobs – exactly what our economy needs to keep growing.

The Senate is expected to vote on the USMCA in the early months of 2020. We'll be calling on you again soon for your grassroots support to win passage of this vital trade deal in the Senate.

Thank you again for helping us achieve this monumental victory!

Sincerely,

Thomas A. Schatz, President
