"Our democracy depends on this and we need your help." - Josh Shapiro

Hey Team – I’ll keep this short.

I’m in a dead heat race in Pennsylvania, and the stakes here have never been higher.

My far-right opponent is an insurrectionist who participated in the Capitol riot on January 6th. If elected, he would ban abortion entirely without exceptions, stripping critical health care from millions of Pennsylvanians. He’d sign those bills; I’d veto them.

In states across the country, we’re seeing a very similar story play out.

Democratic candidates nationwide are facing dangerous candidates who want to dismantle our democracy once and for all. Despite that, those races – like mine – are neck-and-neck. If Democrats are going to bridge those gaps and win on Election Day, we have to act now.

So I’m asking, Team: Will you split a $3 donation between my campaign and the Democratic Governors Association to help meet their $100,000 mid-month goal so that we can defeat right-wing extremists and expand our blue firewall? Time is running out before tonight’s midnight deadline.

We can prove to far-right Republicans that Americans support abortion access, voting rights, and climate action, but only if we get off the sidelines and do the work.

Together we can do this.
