John,
The Working Families Party is proud to endorse Julie Gunnigle for Maricopa County Attorney and Allison Miller for Pinellas and Pasco Counties State Attorney!
At a time when our rights and privacy are under attack, and prosecutors are at the frontlines, it is crucial that we elect attorneys at the local and state levels who are ready to stand up for reproductive freedom in November.
We’re passionate about supporting these candidates beyond Election Day through the Working Families Party Criminal Justice Initiative. The initiative seeks to elect decarceral candidates and help keep them accountable to us. This is how we make the systemic change we demand.
Today, we’re fundraising to help elect Allison and Julie. Will you contribute a split donation of $5 between WFP and their campaigns?

What happens at the state level has a tremendous impact locally and nationwide. In Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis signed the most restrictive abortion law in modern Florida history — and now, it’s being used as the framework for a national abortion ban. With all eyes on how the Florida ban is implemented, we need to elect State Attorneys who will not prosecute doctors, providers, or people seeking reproductive health care.
Allison has made her commitment to protecting abortion rights in Florida, have you? Split a donation of $5 to help elect Allison.
In Arizona, a 15 week abortion ban has begun, with further restrictions under consideration. At present, Arizona doctors who perform abortions after 15 weeks can face felony prosecution and suspension or revocation of their medical license. Further, with Republicans in control of the legislature and governor’s office, Arizonans are vulnerable to even harsher laws without Roe.
We cannot leave this race up to chance, John. Julie Gunnigle’s opponent has decided to prosecute some abortion cases in Maricopa County. Julie, on the other hand, would not prioritize prosecuting doctors or abortion seekers, stating: “As Maricopa County attorney, I will never prosecute a patient, a provider, or a family for choosing to have an abortion or any other reproductive decision.”1
If elected, Allison Miller and Julie Gunnigle will protect our reproductive rights in red states — where this fight is only getting tougher as we approach the midterms. But the Criminal Justice Initiative at WFP knows we can win these races with support of pro-choice activists like you.
Help WFP elect Allison, Julie, and more pro-choice candidates by making a split contribution to their campaigns and WFP today.
