Illinois’ 17th District is my home. I was born and raised in Rockford, and for the past several years I’ve lived in the Quad Cities area. My roots in this district run deep.

After meeting dozens of voters and knocking on countless doors, I can tell you what many of our residents are looking for in a candidate for congress. They want someone who:

They can trust to deliver the truth clearly and consistently
Will stand up for our community in Washington
Will be unwavering in their support for reproductive freedom
In fact, recent polling shows that more than 70% of IL-17 residents are pro-choice. If elected, I will stand up for this supermajority, and I’ll push back against any attacks on reproductive freedom in Illinois and across the country.

Meanwhile, my opponent Esther King is an anti-choice extremist. Even as Senate Republicans attempt a nationwide abortion ban, she remains staunch in her belief that stripping the constitutional right to bodily autonomy was the correct thing to do.

King is hoping voters won’t notice, but we won’t let her get away with it, friend. That’s because we have support from thousands of local Illinoisans whose votes will decide this race.

With the super PAC spending headed our way, this is going to be a super close election. Please chip in a grassroots contribution of $5 today to help us pick up more momentum so we can defeat extremism in IL-17.
