I have exciting news: The Inflation Reduction Act, which includes health care savings based on my Health Care Affordability Act, is now law! My Health Care Affordability Act makes tax credits for Health Insurance Marketplace plans more generous and available to more Americans, and the Inflation Reduction Act extends these cost savings through 2025.

President Biden invited me to the White House because of my work on this historic law, and we celebrated its passage and the relief it will provide to families in northern Illinois and across the country. 

Since my first day in Congress, it’s been my mission to make high-quality health care affordable and accessible for all Americans. And now, 13 million Americans nationwide, including over 20,000 families in the 14th District, will see cost savings on their health care premiums.
