Extremists want to make participating in our democracy as difficult as possible.

Our democracy is at risk, and even Republicans are worried.

GOP hopefuls for election posts see enemies within own party

Nearly one in three Republican candidates running for statewide office supported overturning the 2020 presidential election, including Maggie’s opponent. She has joined the ranks of Arizona’s Mark Finchem, Michigan’s Kristina Karamo, and Nevada’s Jim Marchant, who all want to restructure how we run elections. Even members of their own party are worried about the chaos that could ensue if they take over our elections.

We will not fall victim to these lies and conspiracy theories designed to destroy our democracy. New Mexico deserves a Secretary of State who will listen, cooperate, and stand up for the people of New Mexico. Will you donate $20 right now to show that we believe in fair, safe, and secure elections for everyone?

Maggie’s opponent stated she wants state officials to follow state election laws and increase transparency. For once, we could not agree more. However, GOP candidates and commissioners across the state have been doing quite the opposite – refusing to certify ballots and eliminating safe, valid voting options.

Maggie has spent the last six years ensuring our elections are lawful and transparent, while increasing accessibility for voters. She knows that New Mexico works best when we all have a say in our government, and that means making it easier to vote.

Eliminating voting machines, cutting mailed ballots and early voting, hand-counting ballots, and pushing for a single day of voting for all Americans do NOT make our elections safer. It only makes it harder for regular people to vote. Help preserve our voting rights by chipping in $20 today →

These extremists want to make participating in our democracy as difficult as possible. Help Maggie keep New Mexico a national example for well-run elections by keeping her in office.

Forward,
