Y’all. I am *having* a moment. So before I drop a calendar of where I’ll be over the next couple of weeks, I’ve got to share this update with you.
Quick back story: A couple of weeks ago, my Campaign Manager found this film festival called “One Dem Minute” hosted by Civic Power of Change. They were crowd-sourcing short videos (under 3 minutes) that combat typical political scare tactics and lies used to mislead voters and suppress the vote.
I read the submission requirements and was like, “Oh, dang! My TikToks meet all of these criteria.” So I submitted a few of my videos, and now, I’m a finalist!!
The judges are PA State Rep. and former U.S. Senate candidate Malcolm Kenyatta AND actor Kirsten Vangsness.
