Today, our campaign was honored to receive the endorsement of Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal, the Co-Chair of the Progressive Caucus, which is the largest caucus in the Democratic party.

Congresswoman Jayapal is leading the fight to fix our broken healthcare system, and I can’t wait to join her in pursuing necessary change in Washington.

I believe that healthcare is a right, not a privilege. In every corner of our district, I hear how our healthcare system is failing us. I’ve heard it from a parent whose son’s broken wrist cost thousands of dollars in emergency room fees, and a sick husband whose dialysis treatments are pushing the couple out of their rental home.

These stories are why I am running for Congress, and they are why I am deeply honored to receive the support of Congresswoman Jayapal.
