My opponent is one of the most extreme and dangerous governors in the country. I know that Floridians are ready to reject his far-right agenda in the fall – the latest polling puts us in a statistical tie! But the truth is that my race and dozens of others are going to come down to grassroots resources from supporters like you.

Listen, I could talk for hours about this race and why your donation is so important. But I'll keep things simple today. There are three things I know about this election:

1.) Ron DeSantis is wrong for Florida. He's been pushing an out-of-touch far-right agenda that threatens everything from reproductive rights to voting rights to LGBTQ+ rights. His MAGA ideology and divisive politics are hurting families and tearing our communities apart.

2.) Florida is only a stepping stone to the presidency for Ron DeSantis. He doesn't care about serving families here – he's just using us to take his radical agenda nationwide in 2024. It's about power and ambition, not people.

3.) We can beat this guy. DeSantis only won by 0.4% in 2018, and the latest polls show that our campaigns are neck and neck!

John, we've got a real shot to defeat DeSantis in 2022. We cannot afford to fumble the ball here.

My race is just one of so many must-win governors races this year. In Florida, Georgia, Texas, and beyond, all of the values we care about are on the ballot this year.
