Colorado’s blue skies, waters, and majestic open spaces are more than an economic driver. They’re a part of our way of life — and as your Governor, I’m determined to protect them for your kids, my kids, and every future Coloradan to enjoy.

That’s why, over the last four years, we’ve:

• Put the state on a path to reach 100% renewable energy by 2040

• Doubled the amount of publicly accessible state parks

• Made historic investments in clean air while strengthening our water infrastructure

• Provided resources to help firefighters and first responders combat wildfires — while undertaking the most wildfire mitigation work in recent history.

Climate change is a reality we cannot deny, John. But together, we can protect our air, water, and public lands for future generations — while creating good-paying clean-energy jobs all across the state.
