Hey team –
Did you know that we are just 36 days away from ballots being mailed for the General election?!
My campaign strategy is simple: go out and knock on doors every single day, talk to neighbors about the issues that matter, and show folks I’m here to listen and fight for them. From day one in the State Senate, my top priority has been representing our community.
Going door-to-door in our neighborhoods is the best way to build community connections, and motivate our neighbors to vote. Canvassing made the 102-vote-difference in 2018 and led to our strong results in the August primary — and we’re going to keep building that momentum all the way through to November.
The more doors we knock, the more we can illustrate that I am committed to this community and putting the people of the 26th district first. That means that we need as many volunteers as possible to come out in the field with us!
Don’t worry if you’ve never canvassed before — we’ll teach you! Meet our team and knock doors with us this weekend or next (dates below). Reply to this email if you’re interested and we’ll send you more details!
Can’t make it to a weekend canvass just yet? Come support me at a community forum (having a friendly face in the audience means so much, and you’ll be able to ask questions that matter — that show the contrast between candidates):
Our community has given so much to me, and there’s no better way for me to give back as a public servant than to show up. I hope you’ll help us reach every area of the district by signing up today.
Thank you for standing with me. Let’s go win this thing!
— Emily
