Team,

President Biden was in Michigan to talk about how Michigan Democrats are working together to deliver a better and brighter future for our state and the nation.

Thanks to the hard work of Michigan Democrats, Michigan is receiving critical funding to launch the electric vehicle boom in America. From manufacturing Michigan-made electric vehicles to building charging stations across the state, Michigan Democrats are leading when it comes to bringing investments into our state.

Michigan Democrats in Congress worked with President Biden to pass the Inflation Reduction Act, which will pump dollars into states like Michigan to retool manufacturing facilities to build electric vehicles, components, batteries, and more. Governor Gretchen Whitmer made sure that Michigan was prepared to invest this money into Michigan workers and businesses so we could build an economy that puts Michiganders first.

When Democrats work together, we get the job done. President Biden recognized that Michigan is a leader, not only in manufacturing innovation but in rebuilding a stronger economy that works for the people of our state. Will you sign on to our card to thank President Biden for visiting our great state and celebrating the work Democrats have done to pave the way for a better and brighter Michigan?

Photo of President Biden wearing a light blue striped shirt with his fist in the air with the quote: For a long time, we’ve reassured ourselves that American democracy is guaranteed. But it is not. We have to defend it. Protect it. Stand up for it... I am asking the nation to come together and unite behind this single purpose – of saving our democracy.
