Are you ready for Election Day
Check Your Registration

Friend, Election Day on November 8th is approaching
quickly.
It may be one of the most important days in our lives, when it comes
to how it affects the rights of ourselves and our friends and
families, but it's so easy for voting to fall through the
cracks.
No worries. GLAAD's got you with these three steps for getting
ready and voting:
Step 1: Double check your voter registration status on
HeadCount.org right now with this handy link. Every state's
registration deadline is different, so why not check your status
early?

Step 2: Make a plan. Know the closest place to drop off your ballot?
Know when the polls close?

Having a plan is hands-down THE best guarantee that any of us will
remember to vote. Check out your county's election website
(it's easy to find via this link to your Local Board of
Elections), and get those details in your calendar.

Step 3: Get three (3!) friends to do the same. In addition to
sharing the links above, they also can confirm their registrations and
make a plan to vote at headcount.org. The four (4!) of you can even
plan a trip to the ballot box to save on time.
Voting this year is critical, if we want to see elected officials and
policies that reflect the hard-won dreams and rights of the LGBTQ and
other marginalized communities.
So thank you for taking these easy steps that ensure you and our
community are ready to be heard on November 8, 2022.
