| Fellow American, Now that we’ve said goodbye to summer and entered autumn, it’s officially GO TIME for the upcoming election! I am proud of the work my team and I have accomplished over the last 14 months. We’ve been marked as one of the seven critical races that could flip the House, and it’s drawing NATIONAL attention! But now is not the time to take our eye off the ball – not even for a second. There are 54 days until the election; that’s less than two months! So we must reach every single fundraising goal we set for ourselves, including our mid-month goal that ends tomorrow. Can I count on your help to reach it so we’re not left scrambling?
Reaching this specific goal is vital. You see, in two weeks, we are required to send our fundraising numbers to the Federal Election Commission (FEC). My opponent Jahana Hayes and her team will look through our numbers and see how much more they need to raise to ensure they consistently outraise me. Keep in mind – they’re already outraising my campaign by 3:1! But she won’t be the only one looking at our numbers. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) will look and see how far they have to reach into their deep pockets to save Hayes. Also, keep in mind that they’ve already purchased a MILLION DOLLARS worth of ad buys. We have a lot of work ahead of us these next 54 days, and frankly, I’m worried it’s not enough time. That is why I hope you will step up and show your support for this campaign by chipping in $10, $25, or whatever you can today!
