Lauren Boebert has made a (short) career out of saying and tweeting purposefully inflammatory things just to get attention. She will do anything to trend on Twitter, even when she knows how absurd, divisive, and hateful she sounds. The problem with Boebert isn’t what she tweets. It’s what she does. Boebert still supports conspiracy theories about the 2020 election, called student loan forgiveness “wealth redistribution,” and abused her position in Congress to introduce legislation that “prohibited” the U.S. from re-entering the World Health Organization (WHO) during COVID. Boebert only cares about getting the attention of Donald Trump. Since Boebert is so bad at speaking up for Colorado, but so good at trending on Twitter, how about we let her speak for herself: We need to remind voters there are excellent, qualified, experienced candidates running in Colorado to unseat "ultra" MAGA extremists like Boebert. Candidates like Dr. Yadira Caraveo, a pediatrician who also served in the Colorado state legislature who wants to expand healthcare access; and Adam Frisch, who is taking on Boebert and running a strong campaign centered around mitigating the impacts of climate change in our sensitive region.
