Now that we’re less than two months away from the General Election, I want to take a moment and update you directly about the status of our race. 
 
Here’s where things currently stand:
 
- McCarthy hasn’t been this unpopular in the Central Valley in years. His approval rating is plummeting, and voters are seeing right through his recycled Republican talking points. Instead of bringing solutions to the table, he’s digging his heels into more advancing division and conflict with each passing day.
 
- Democrats are SWEEPING recent special elections. Voters are showing up at the ballot box to stop extremist Republicans from imposing their backward worldviews. Democrats are winning in red districts and it looks like the GOP’s predicted “red wave” is evaporating. A McCarthy defeat is within our grasp.
 
- Our team is ramping up our outreach efforts. We’re sending out bilingual mailers, running more digital ads, and getting the word out so local voters know there’s a candidate who understands the issues our community faces.
 
John, voters are ready for change in CA-20,  and I’m ready to deliver the knockout punch to DEFEAT Kevin McCarthy in November. There’s been a lag in fundraising these past few weeks, and we can’t afford to slow down now. Could you chip in $5 or more to bolster our efforts?
