With just hours until our final mid-month fundraising deadline of the FEC quarter, let us briefly explain why this deadline is so important.
At the end of the month, our campaign will close the books on the last three months of fundraising and file it in a public report with the Federal Election Commission.
This is the report Republicans will be looking to when they go to book their final ad reservations of the midterm elections next month. If they sense weakness, they’ll pour in even more on top of the $80 million they’ve already booked to defeat vulnerable incumbent Democrats.
If they see our strength, they’ll need to invest in shoring up their existing members — and will open the door for us to flip Republican seats to build our majority.
