Dear
,
It was great to see many of you at the March for Life last Saturday. Those of you who attended will have heard the very moving experience of Hayley, who was a victim of coerced abortion. You can watch her testimony below, or read it here on the SPUC website.

Speaking in Parliament Square, Hayley finished “The Government have ears to hear, make them hear!”
One way of making the Government hear the voices of women like Hayley is through signing and sharing SPUC’s petition, calling on the Health Secretary to urgently commission research into the area of abortion coercion, and in so doing recognise coerced abortion as a priority for health and social policy moving forward.
We had set a deadline of 19 August for this petition, but the delay in presenting the petition caused by the period of national mourning for HM The Queen, as well as the appointment of pro-life Catholic Thérèse Coffey as Health Secretary mean we want to do one last push to get names on this vital petition. The first step in combatting abortion coercion is for proper research to be conducted, and for it to be recognised as an urgent health priority.
What can I do?
If you haven’t already, please sign this petition. And please share it in any way you can – email to friends and family, post on social media, put it in your church newsletter. You can also share the video of Hayley’s testimony with the petition.
Thank you for campaigning with us to end coerced abortion. The Government have ears to hear. Make them hear.
With best wishes,
