 Look, this is not the news I want to be sharing with you, but we’re falling behind on our fundraising this month. In a moment, I’m going to explain why it’s so important that we catch up, but if you’re already on board, will you rush $10 right now?
All eyes are on IL-13, and soon, my team will have to publicly report our quarterly fundraising numbers to the Federal Election Commission. Everyone from my opponent to her right-wing allies to dark-money outside groups, will look through for signs of weakness. We can’t give them what they’re looking for. That’s why my team has set a 72-hour goal to raise $6,500 in grassroots donations by Saturday at midnight. If we reach this goal, we will catch up to where we should be at this point in the month. The momentum is on our side, team. This seat has been named one of Democrats’ best pick-up opportunities in the entire nation. But, all this national attention means we must put forward a strong report at the end of the month. We can’t afford to lose our momentum now, so will you pitch in $3, $10, or more before Saturday to prove the strength of our grassroots team and help us reach our goal?
