Folks, I hope you’ll join me in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month here in NV-03 and across the country.
The Hispanic community is part of the backbone that makes Nevada as great as it is today. Their culture, excellence, and contributions in local communities across our state are invaluable and seen everyday.
Nevada would not be what it is today without the Hispanic community. In the past two decades alone, the Hispanic population has grown to represent more than a quarter of Nevada’s total population. We’re better off because of our growth in Hispanic representation across the Silver State.
If you haven’t already, take this month to research, get involved with, and support Hispanic communities and culture in your community. Our society benefits from our desire to learn about and embrace our cultural diversity.
In celebration,
Susie Lee
