As we look ahead to the holidays and start planning for the new year, I hope you are able to rest and recharge, connect with your loved ones, and celebrate with your community.

2020 is the beginning of a transformative decade for our city and the world. Together, we will build on our extraordinary achievements and set our sights on bold goals for tomorrow: on climate change, housing, confronting the homelessness crisis, transportation, economic growth, public safety, and all the ways we are fighting to build a stronger, fairer, healthier, more just and prosperous Los Angeles for ourselves and generations ahead.

We are forging the city of the future — and I invite every Angeleno to be a part of that movement.
