Here at Team Pappas, we take National Ice Cream Day VERY seriously. To celebrate we hosted our 2nd Annual Ice Cream Social at my family’s restaurant last Saturday night.
I spent the evening scooping ice cream and talking to constituents about protecting access to quality and affordable schools, standing up for our veterans, and defending a woman’s right to choose.
Thank you so much to everyone who joined us last weekend in Manchester. I loved seeing some longtime friends and meeting many new ones. This annual event is such a strong reminder of the incredible network we’ve built together around our shared vision for the future of NH-01. If you turned out, thank you -- and if you couldn’t make it, I hope to see you soon!
Growing up in my family’s business meant I’ve been part of a big community of hardworking people all my life. My experience as a 4th-generation business owner working alongside cooks, dishwashers, hosts, waitstaff, busers, and ice cream scoopers informs my work in Washington and the district every day.
Whether on the floor of Congress or back at home dishing out ice cream, I am always proud to serve Granite Staters.
