I’m putting together an update for Keith ahead of next Tuesday’s public fundraising deadline, and we’re WAY behind our budget projections.

There’s a lot going on, but we have to stay focused. Keith had the closest statewide race in Minnesota in 2018. And we have an even tougher fight ahead of us this year against an anti-choice hedge-fund lawyer with zero courtroom experience.

Public polling currently shows our race in a statistical dead-heat, and POLITICO is calling Keith "Minnesota’s Most Vulnerable Progressive." I’ll just be blunt. If we come up short next week, I don’t see us bouncing back by Election Day. 

Make no mistake: Abortion rights are on the ballot this November. When our fundraising numbers are made public after Tuesday, September 20, they need to make clear that this grassroots movement is ready to defend reproductive freedom.
