Dear Friend --

This weekend we will begin to celebrate Hanukkah here in Long Beach and around the world. Every year, I join members of our Jewish community and light our city menorah at City Hall. To commemorate our first Hanukkah in the new City Hall, we have a brand new menorah that will be on display in the lobby as we honor this special tradition in Long Beach.

I will be lighting our city menorah in the City Hall lobby at 4:00 P.M. on Monday, December 23rd and the community is invited to join us.

I want to wish everyone a joyful holiday season, no matter how you are celebrating.
