Dear Friend,
I’m hooked on politics. Sadly, for me, this is not something that comes with a long-term treatment plan. Baby, I was born this way!
I’m stuck with this heart & mind that cares about other people enough to fight for them with all I have for as long as I can. Election cycles are not 2 years or 4 years apart for me or my coworkers. Election cycles are every single day. But for those brief moments of reprieve right after major elections where we get a moment to breathe — if voters move us a bit forward. Or, lately, a time where we wipe away our tears & hold our breath waiting to see what terrible undoings will be done to our hard work by *inexplicably elected candidates.
Either way: we do not stop . We never stop fighting for you because we know you are doing your best to take care of yourself & your loved ones. Being WOKE means what it says: sleep is hard to come by if you’re paying attention.
